An effective watercolor brush will definitely have superb water retention capabilities and additionally always keep it’s shape properly allowing for a fine brush stroke from the point. It is advisable to spend money on a few professional quality brushes rather than a large number of those of a lesser class. Soft natural bristle brushes usually are the ideal option for watercolour painting because they are naturally springy as well as absorbent, that means they are snap back to shape and keep a more substantial quantity of paint, that means you do not find it necessary to reload the brush as often as with an artificial bristled brushes.

Watercolor Paper
Do not be fooled into thinking all watercolor paper is the same. Numerous varieties of paper carry the tag “watercolor paper” but there are many different versions. You will find several thicknesses, and the color white will differ between dull gray, cream and bright white. The thinner and lighter the paper the further it may buckle when wetted.
The more paint you utilize and the thinner and lighter the sheet of paper, the much greater the likelihood is that the sheet is going to buckle. Stretching the paper in advance would solve this matter. There are quite a few methods of stretching watercolor paper, and yet pretty much all start with 1st immersing your paper in luke warm water and additionally lying flat to dry off simultaneously under tension.

Making the color exactly right.
Watercolour paint is inclined to appear to be substantially more intense at the time it is first applied, whilst it dries out the vibrancy is lost notes, leaving behind a considerably lighter, more muted final result. Applying less water or just over painting the dried layer will allow you to obtain the required strength, which is an issue you are going to generate a feel for when you are more skilled. Watercolour paint actually however dry out quite fast, so you can always keep a scrap of paper handy to try out to achieve the precise appearance you are actually the painting that is in progress.

Do not overlook that no matter if watercolor paint is dried out it is possible to revive it by re-wetting. This allows you correct slip ups, brighten up colors or maybe combine new color. Be aware however, watercolour paint is see through, which means you can not over paint errors very easily. With the translucent character of watercolour paint the authentic whitewashing color is rather than the paint it’s self. For this very reason the light advice is always to start with the light color choices, this should not be a hard and fast regulation however, be sure to play around and identify an approach that works well for you and come up with your individual style.

Frisket or masking fluid is generally an effective way of being sure regions of white keep on being white. Paint the fluid on areas that you would like to remain paper white, permit to dry after which it should repel any watercolor paint which comes into contact with it. It dries a yellowy color in order to very easily observe where you have utilized it, and it is usually removed when completely dried out by pealing or rubbing. Constantly use scrap paper to experiment first, it could possibly soak into some softer papers that make it not possible to take away damaging the papers surface.

4 Easy Tips to Promote Your Online Weed Content

4 Easy Tips to Promote Your Online Weed Content

According to Search Engine Watch, there are 7 reasons why and how content becomes viral. These include content that is capable of triggering emotions, positive sentiments like the Ice Bucket Challenge, and the natural tendency of people to share great ideas.

But virality is not the only measure of online content success. Your online weed content, for example, does not have to be seen and loved by everyone. As long as your target audience responds to your content positively, you may not think of it as a virus but you can think of it as a job well done.

Of course, getting there needed some work. So if you are looking for a way to promote your weed blog or your specific article we have some tips for you to try.

How to Promote Your Online Weed Content
1. Targeting Smaller Community Sites

Remember what we said about reaching your target audience? The beauty of going after smaller community sites like Reddit or Quora is that you can catch an active, focused audience, awesome for niche niche blogs.

But note, this may sound easy but you can not forget the addition of value to the community. This means you must establish yourself as an authority. In this case, an authority in weeds.

Try to help and actively participate. That means posting questions and maybe even promoting other people’s work. When community members are concerned about your contribution, they will start following you, which is your cue to start sharing your content.

2. Consider Paid Promotion

Some channels like content recommendation platforms work for those who want to reach a wide audience. If you want to be an online grass content to stand out, you should promote social networking sites and / or social bookmarking.

Why?

With the sponsored Facebook post or Twitter tweets being promoted, you get the option of actually selecting the people you want to view your content. This promotional channel will allow you to appear as you want. You can target by age, work, location, and even marital status.

For those with limited marketing budgets, this is also a cost-effective option. You can adjust your bids as low as $ 1 / day. This means you do not have to spend a lot of money just to get your eyeballs to your weed website.

3. Working with Influencer

Business Dictionary defines influencers as individuals that can influence other people’s purchasing decisions. They can do this because of their authority (real or perceived), knowledge, position, or relationship.

If you can establish relationships with influencers in your niche and get them to share your content, you automatically gain access to their followers. If you are an influencer yourself (see what we say about building authority), this becomes a mutually beneficial partnership. Your consolidated audience clearly means increased exposure for both parties.

Well, if you’re still working to become an influencer, maybe you could ask to be a contributor on their site. If it is a blog about weed brownies, you can write related posts or do a video review of pots brownies.

4. Try Retargeting

An easy way to promote content is retargeting. If you are not familiar with this concept, it means making visitors who have read one or more of your posts and lured them back to your weed website.

This is usually done with advertising. Tagged visitors will be shown a banner ad that may persuade them to check your site again. Retargeting can also be done with email marketing.

If you submit a newsletter, you can use social media targeting and provide exclusive content to your existing customers.

North V. South: The Battle of the Poles

North V. South: The Battle of the Poles

Your breath feels like it freezes as soon as it leaves your lungs, your back and shoulders ache from carrying equipment for days and your legs are shaking – yet, somehow, you’ve never been happier.
Traveling to the Poles is the dream of many an adventure lover. These remote, inhospitable locations offer unique sights and experiences to those brave enough to venture towards their icy hearts.

Practicalities

For a first-timer, the safest and most practical way of embarking on a polar expedition is by joining an organised group. This way you can make the most of professional trekkers’ experience and truly enjoy the trip knowing you are in good hands. There are several good companies which specialise in polar expeditions so do your research to find one that suits your needs.

Which Pole if For You?

Teamwork and discipline are key during these trips and you’ll make lifelong friendships with those you cross the ice with. But which Pole is for you? North or South?

North V. South

A trip to the North Pole takes around three weeks and covers around 200km. To reach it, you must head out over the frozen depths of the Arctic Ocean. Underneath metres of ice is the freezing sea, so this ice moves! The drift of ice may work against you and the air is frustratingly humid so you must constantly work to keep your tent dry. Cold management is also a constant battle – keeping warm is key to survival.

Sound like fun? Other challenges include skiing against the drift of the ice and pulling your equipment hundreds of kilometres by sled…

Though these trips are hard work, you’ll have plenty of time to admire the stunning scenery as you’re not trying to win any awards. This trip is for you to gain a better knowledge of both yourself and the strange land surrounding you. A good polar expedition company will take their team at a steady pace, allowing you to absorb the misty mountains of ice and the overwhelming sense of isolation.

A trip to the South Pole is usually shorter, coming in at about a week and a half. Unlike the Arctic, the Antarctic is a continent. Underneath the ice there is firm ground so you won’t be battling ice drift here. The air is also extremely dry – the driest on earth in fact. These factors mean that habitation is possible at the South Pole. However, the Antarctic comes with its own challenges. The driving wind works with the immobile ice to create harsh ‘sastrugi’. These irregular ridges are difficult to walk on and navigate through – especially in the high altitude which can leave you breathless or dizzy. Of course, just like in the Arctic, keeping warm is difficult but essential.

Visitors to this remote region are left speechless by the icy wilderness stretching out endlessly before them, lit by the eerie 24-hour sun that never sets.

Though the Arctic and Antarctic offer very different experiences, the feeling of euphoria when you reach your goal is the same and unparalleled. How does it sound? Terrifying? Or thrilling? If the latter, a polar expedition might just be the perfect trip for you. Good luck!

Keeping your Winter Holiday Green

Keeping your Winter Holiday Green

We live in a time where people are becoming increasingly eco-conscious, and both cor-porations and individuals are doing more than ever to reduce their carbon footprint. This is fantastic news and very important in a bid to protect our planet and reduce the impact of global warming, but there is still a lot of work to be done. The good news is that even small changes can have a huge impact.
As a rapidly growing industry that’s set in natural surroundings, the skiing community must look for ways to keep winter holidays green without compromising on the quality of stays in catered ski chalets and shredding powder on the mountain. If you have a ski trip coming up and want to do your bit, here are a few simple ways to have an eco-friendly holiday.

Public Transportation

One great way to protect the environment is to opt for public transportation instead of taking your own car. The local public transport system is usually free with a lift pass, and offers a good chance to make a few new friends along the way. Using the local train network is also a good option if you want to venture outside of the resort and explore.

Recycling in Your Chalet

There has been a huge push to encourage recycling in ski resorts in recent years. Simply separate your rubbish from what can be recycled and take it down to the recycling point. This only takes a few minutes, but has a very positive impact on the environment.

Gear from Eco-Friendly Companies

There are a growing number of eco-friendly ski and snowboard companies that provide gear that does not harm the environment. This includes using eco-friendly waxes on snowboards and skis that are made from sustainable, reclaimed or recycled materials. For a great and guilt-free experience in the snow, why not consider renting or buying this equipment from a company that is doing its part to save our planet?

Chalet Hire from Reputable Companies

One of the easiest ways to go green is to book your catered ski chalet from a reputable company that has actively taken steps to combat damaging the environment. Take your time to research the company, and keep your eyes peeled for those that adhere to an AITO recognised environmental policy.

Getting There

Transport is always a concern when it comes to green holidays. Flying can produce three times more CO2 emissions per passenger than other forms of public transportation, so avoid this if possible. Good alternatives include driving (car shares are even better) and going by train (there are many stations throughout the Alps).

Offset Carbon

If you do decide to fly, you can still do your bit by offsetting your carbon (certain airlines provide this option at the time of booking). A few options include getting a shared transfer or bus from the airport/train station and using a transfer company that offsets their carbon.

Adhering to Resort Environmental Issues

If you choose a resort that has environmentally friendly practices in place, be sure to ad-here to these during your stay. The staff members know how to best protect the site, and they can make it easy for you to do your bit whilst still enjoying your stay.

Never has it been more important for people to reduce their environmental impact than today. Fortunately, this can be relatively straightforward during a stay in a catered ski chalet, and will allow us all to continue skiing without damaging the beautiful surround-ings.
